The lake view from the place was stunning and can be enjoyed from some rooms. The décor was also unique, giving a good sense of history. The location was great, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The breakfast was simple but sufficiently satisfying.
The stay was not as pleasant because of the lack of cleanliness. The room was not tidy, and there were signs of dust and cobwebs in some areas.

I loved the location of this hotel, right on the edge of the beautiful Lake Mendota. The views were breathtaking and I enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck watching the sunsets. The hotel was also conveniently close to the capital, making it an easy walk to the Capitol building and the Capital square.
All was perfect during my stay.
